By downloading, installing, or using ManiShelf, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ManiShelf is licensed, not sold, to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
ManiShelf is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or recurring charges of any kind. All purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests must be made through Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for ManiShelf or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to ManiShelf, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of the claim. You acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
ManiShelf is a personal library tracker for anime, manga, manhwa, and manhua. You may use it to organize and track your own collection. You agree not to:
All rights, title, and interest in ManiShelf — including the app, artwork, icons, user interface, and source code — are owned by Anastasiia Senkevych and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
Cover art, synopses, character data, and other metadata fetched from third-party APIs and cached locally on your device remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for your personal reference only. Any notes, ratings, tags, and custom lists you create in ManiShelf remain yours; the developer claims no rights to your library content.
ManiShelf fetches publicly available metadata from third-party APIs including AniList, MangaUpdates, Jikan/MyAnimeList, MangaDex, and Kitsu. These services have their own terms of service and may change or become unavailable at any time. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by these services.
All library data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, software updates, or any other cause.
ManiShelf is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or device damage.
ManiShelf is intended for users aged 13 and older, in line with the Apple App Store age rating. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement or that a parent or legal guardian has consented on your behalf.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws in your use of ManiShelf.
This license remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically, without notice, if you fail to comply with any provision. You may terminate this license at any time by deleting ManiShelf from your devices. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding your use of ManiShelf and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
