By downloading, installing, or using Rowmate, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Rowmate is licensed, not sold, to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Rowmate is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or recurring charges of any kind. All purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests must be made through Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Rowmate or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Rowmate, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of the claim. You acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
You and the developer acknowledge that the developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for Rowmate, as may be required under applicable law. The developer has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services beyond what is committed to in writing on oitoana.dev. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to Rowmate.
Rowmate is a personal utility for cleaning, merging, deduplicating, and tidying CSV files. You may use it on any data you have the legal right to process, including your own files and files you have been authorised to handle. You agree not to:
You also agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Rowmate (for example, your data provider's terms of service if you process exports from a third-party platform).
All rights, title, and interest in Rowmate, including the app, artwork, icons, user interface, and source code, are owned by Anastasiia Senkevych and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
The CSV files you open in Rowmate, along with any output files Rowmate produces from them, remain entirely yours. The developer claims no rights to your data. Presets you create stay on your Mac and are not collected or examined by us in any way.
Rowmate is built with Apple's standard frameworks (Foundation, AppKit, SwiftUI, CryptoKit) only. No third-party runtime libraries are bundled with the app.
All file processing happens locally on your Mac. Rowmate always writes results to a new file next to the original and never overwrites your source data. Even so, you remain responsible for backing up files you care about. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, software updates, file corruption, mistaken operations, or any other cause.
Rowmate provides automated transformations on CSV data, including encoding detection, delimiter detection, deduplication, normalisation, and masking. While we work hard to make these transformations correct and predictable, you are responsible for reviewing the output file before relying on it for any consequential decision. Because Rowmate always writes the result to a new file next to the original (never overwriting your source), you can open the output and compare it against the input as a verification step before acting on it.
Rowmate is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work flawlessly with every future macOS update or every CSV file in existence — nor that any specific transformation will produce a result suitable for your particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or device damage. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer right under applicable law that cannot be limited or excluded by contract.
Rowmate carries the Apple App Store's lowest age rating (4+) and is suitable for all ages. There is no minimum age requirement to use the app beyond what Apple's Media Services Terms specify for App Store purchases. If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian should agree to these Terms on your behalf.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws in your use of Rowmate.
This license remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically, without notice, if you fail to comply with any provision. You may terminate this license at any time by deleting Rowmate from your devices. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Portugal, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding your use of Rowmate and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Rowmate is developed by Anastasiia Senkevych, an independent developer based in Portugal. If you have questions about these terms, please visit the contact page.
